Born to Serve the Hospitality Industry

Lorica Solutions was established in 2004 as the Hospitality Division of Synergy Global Solutions, an IT managed services provider with 35 years experience. Our initial focus on High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) and support was later expanded to VoIP telephony and remote managed services of hotel systems from our Network Operations Center.

Convinced that we could create a better technology environment in hotels – one that would improve guest experiences, drive down costs, and relieve the pressure on hotels’ overworked technology staff – we set out to develop a true converged managed network with the very special needs of the hotel industry built into the solution.

For 2 ½ years we worked closely with leading hotel technology experts and within the work groups of Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG), the industry’s leading technology trade group, soliciting feedback at every step. The result was the groundbreaking Lorica Room Center — the only fully managed converged network specifically designed for the hospitality industry.

Acquisition Brings Singular Focus and Expanded Resources

In December, 2006, Lorica was acquired by Hotel Technology Solutions, a company formed and dedicated to bringing comprehensive technology solutions for the hospitality industry. The new ownership brings a total focus on the hospitality industry, a seasoned, dedicated team, and the resources to pursue even more new product innovation and international expansion.
